What Are The Classifications Of Honeycomb Core Materials?

Honeycomb core materials include two categories: metal honeycomb core materials and non-metallic honeycomb core materials. Metal honeycomb core material is mainly aluminum alloy honeycomb core material. Non-metallic honeycomb core materials include glass cloth honeycomb core material, paper honeycomb core material and Nomex honeycomb core material. Paper honeycomb core material is basically not used in aircraft structures due to its low performance.
The cell shape of honeycomb core material is mainly hexagonal, and there are also honeycomb core materials that have been stretched, and the cell shape is rectangular. In practical applications, most of them are hexagonal honeycomb core materials, and overstretched honeycomb core materials are mainly used in sandwich structural parts with single curves.
