Materials and structures

Base Material

Made of a composite of glass fiber mat or continuous glass fiber and unsaturated polyester resin, vinyl ester resin, or other materials, forming a high-strength skeletal structure. The glass fiber content typically ranges from 30% to 70%, imparting excellent impact resistance and deformation resistance.

Surface Treatment Technology

Resin-bonded Anti-Slip Layer: Anti-slip particles (such as silica sand or aluminum oxide particles) are embedded into the resin surface through a high-pressure process, creating a mechanically interlocking structure. The anti-slip grade can reach R11-R13 according to DIN 51130.

Embossed and Drain Design: Surface embossing features V-shaped drain grooves, honeycomb patterns, or wheat-like anti-slip lines enhance drainage and friction coefficient, making them suitable for wet or muddy environments.

Smart Coating: Some products are sprayed with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) micropowder to dynamically adjust the friction coefficient (e.g., reducing it to 0.3 on snowy terrain and increasing it to 0.6 on muddy terrain).

Physical Characteristics
Thickness: Available from 0.8mm to 5.0mm, with some rolls as thin as 1.2mm. Sheet widths up to 3.2 meters.
Temperature resistance: -60°C to 120°C, suitable for extreme environments such as Arctic research stations and deserts.
Weight: Density 1.4-1.8g/cm³, only 1/3-1/2 that of metal skid plates, making it easy to handle and install.

Anti-slip Performance
Wet coefficient of friction (COF) ≥ 0.6, verified by the pendulum test and compliant with international standards such as ANSI A137.1 and ASTM E303.

Durability
