What Is CFRT?

Continuous glass fiber thermoplastic composite materials (CFRT) are produced by hot-pressing two or more layers of thermoplastic unidirectional prepreg tape at an angle of 0° or 90°, followed by further hot pressing. As a new type of thermoplastic composite material, CFRT sheets offer high strength, high rigidity, high toughness, and recyclability. Furthermore, CFRT is a new type of glass fiber reinforced sheet material that surpasses thermoset glass fiber and metal materials in many performance aspects.

● Continuous fibers can significantly meet high strength and stiffness requirements.
● The product's surface is grain-free, corrosion-resistant, mildew-resistant, and unaffected by chemical cleaners.
● It offers excellent interlaminar shear performance and high impact strength.
● Sheet layup, reinforcement type, and fiber content can be customized.
● It meets lightweight vehicle requirements and is environmentally friendly.
● It is 35% lighter and 100% tougher than FRP sheets.

CFRT Honeycomb Panel Description

CFRT honeycomb panels are honeycomb sandwich panels with a core made of PP honeycomb panels and reinforced with continuous glass fiber-reinforced PET resin unidirectional prepreg tape (0°/90° multi-layer composite panels). Due to their lightweight, high strength, and excellent thermal insulation properties, they are widely used in road transport vehicle compartments, containers, RV floors, and decorative panels.
